The Website is up and running and if you have any suggestions of what you would like to see on there then please let me know.
On the Website, you will find all the latest information on all cup games. I update them as soon as I receive a cup score, so if you are able to use the website then you can see who your next opponents will be. This would hopefully mean you could possibly get the game arranged or even played without having to wait for a newsletter.
The first Cup competition of the year is the Captains Cup to be played Saturday 10/11/18 at the Liberal Club. Please arrive at 7.30pm prompt so positioning on the board can be drawn for a 7.45pm start.
There is still time to enter, and it would be excellent for every team in the leagues to be represented. If you haven’t entered but would like to, please call me on 01225 351941.
Ladies Section
Please could you remember to put the start time and make sure both score sheets are signed.
In the Ladies divisions there are currently 2 games outstanding which is a good improvement on last month, thank you. Could you rearrange these games ASAP and let me know the date the game will be played if you haven’t done so already.

Mens Section
Please could you remember to put an accurate start time as I have had a few score sheets with different start times on and make sure that both score sheets are signed.
The new rule of starting No later than 8.35pm was brought in at the AGM giving you an extra 5 minutes grace from previous seasons. In most cases, there is no reason to start any later as there are enough players in the venue to start on time.
I have had information from several people that teams have started a lot later than the time they have put on the score sheet, this is totally unacceptable!! They are deliberately trying to avoid the point’s penalty that comes with this rule.
In the Mens divisions there are currently 9 games outstanding. Could you rearrange these games ASAP and let me know the date the game will be played if you haven’t done so already.
Just a reminder that games should be played within 21 days of the original play date or by the end of the 21 days, have at least a date set for when the game will be played. Fixture secretary MUST be informed of this date.

Due to the amount of teams that have entered the 12 a side Ushers Cup we have had to do a preliminary round draw with 3 games that needs to be played prior to the set dates on the fixture card. This means the set dates can be used to its full potential and eliminate many teams having problems getting their alley.
