Welcome to the first Newsletter of the new season.
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the AGM.
Would you like to receive Newsletters via email ? Then please get in contact via the email address above. This will help me greatly.
Please hand in your Signing on form NO LATER than the 3rd game of the season, if you are the away team on the night of this game then please hand it to the home captain. Please keep the additional signing on form in case you need to sign anyone else on during the season. All forms are available to download from the downloads section of the website
IMPORTANT
If there are any dates that you know of in advance that you cannot play then please rearrange the games early, don’t wait until the week of the game to notify your opposition. Bringing games forward before the original date will mean that you will not be penalised for game postponements.
POSTPONED GAMES
A date for when the game will be played must arranged within 2 WEEKS. If games are postponed in the first half of the season, you still have until Christmas to play it. If a game is postponed in the second half of the season you have until the end of the league fixtures to play it.
Please also inform the Fixture Secretary thank you.

AGM minutes, please keep these safe so that you will not need another copy at the end of the season. These can be downloaded from the website.
Fixture card for the Captain and Fixture sheets if you would like to pass them on to players.
New Rules for the 2024-25 season – It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read them. Failure to do so may result in fines at the end of the season. If you don’t read them, you can’t complain. By playing in the league, you agree to follow the rules.
I have again included an example score sheet to place in your books. A points diagram is also in the rules.

Please get your results in asap after the game. The quickest way to see the next round draw will be on the website and which will be announced on our Facebook page.
All score sheets to be sent/emailed to Andy Bainton 35 Queensway Melksham SN12 7LB / melkshamskittles@hotmail.com ASAP after your game and no later than the FRIDAY following your game.
If you email your score sheets, please could you send them to me after 3 home games. I will need to them to check end of season averages and high scores.
