For the past few Newsletters we have been asking if you would like the Presentation night to return, sadly we have not had much response at all. Therefore the Presentation of Trophies and prize money will again be given out at the AGM later on in the year.
Score sheets
Please could you all remember to fill out score sheets correctly with team names, date, correct start time, signatures, points and all aggregate scores on both sheets.
So that the correct team are fined for this, please put a star next your team name on your own score sheet.
I am recently finding that teams are putting a star next to their opponents name; this doesn’t help me with making sure the correct sheet goes in the correct folder or the correct team are fined for any incorrectly filled out score sheets.
Postponed games
Please can you rearrange any postponed games ASAP and let the Fixture secretary know the date. You have up until the 31st December 2022 to play these games, however it is preferred that you arrange them as early as possible. Failure to play the game by this date will result in the game points being awarded to the non defaulting team in accordance with the rules.
If you know in advance that you don’t have a team for a game, you can bring that game forward and it will not count as a postponed game.
Change of Venue play date – IMPORTANT news for both divisions.
I have been advised that All Spencer’s teams will be moving from a Monday to a Tuesday after Christmas. This will affect both divisions and any cup competitions teams are involved in. Please change your cards.
