Dear all,
It is with deep regret that I have to inform you the Committee have, with immediate effect, brought to a close this seasons League and Cup programme.
I am sure you will understand that this action is necessary during the situation we find ourselves in, not just as a Country but the whole World.
Records of the season will be preserved for future reference, rather than being deleted completely.
League positions will be determined on a points per game (ppg) basis, such that we have an equal competition for all. Early investigation shows that there will be little change to League positions.
League Winner and Runner-up will be paid as normal and also Cup competitions that have been completed. As such Teams will be expected to pay fees for games played. Your bill is enclosed with this letter.
The Committee will look at incentives for all Teams to apply for next season. An announcement will be made in due course.
Preperations will continue for this years AGM and season 2020/21. Once we are aware of which Teams wish to continue next season, Andy Bainton will be able to determine the League structure going forward. Can you please call Andy asap to inform him whether your Team intends to continue or not next season.
Cups will be presented at the AGM when we are able to arrange.
In closing can I advise that you adhere to Government advice, keep yourself and families safe and hopefully we will be back playing skittles soon.
